Straight 4x4 Closure Wig

Long, straight, natural black hair that falls past your shoulders, with a 4x4 lace closure at the parting. It is a classic, polished look for work, weddings and lazy Sundays, and a simple way to wear long hair without a full lace front.

The closure has less lace to cut and lay than a frontal, so getting ready is quicker. Part it in the middle or slightly to one side. The medium-brown lace comes uncut: trim it to fit and tint it if needed. Wear it sleek, or curl it with heat.

• Wash every 7 to 10 wears with a sulphate-free shampoo, then condition well. Never rub: squeeze the water out gently.
• Detangle from the ends up with a wide-tooth comb or your fingers.
• Air-dry on a wig stand. Use a heat protectant whenever you use heat, and keep tools at a moderate setting.
• For straight hair: easiest. Store it on a stand or in its bag, away from sunlight.

1. Braid or flatten your hair and put on a wig cap.
2. Place the wig and line the hairline up with yours. Trim the lace close to the hairline if it is not pre-cut.
3. Secure it with the band and combs, or with lace glue or gel for a melted finish.
4. Style the parting and edges, then go.
